Sales Manager

Key
responsibilities of the post:
-
To take over
an existing Ford / ITEC workshop and PDI centre.
-
Reporting to
the Country Manager in Afghanistan for commercial and operational matters
and the Group After Sales Manager based in Thailand for technical and
quality matters.
-
Focus on
building the fleet / external business segment and delivering the highest
levels of service to our existing and potential customer base.
-
Manage a
30-50 man Afghan workforce.
-
Resourcing of
local technical staff.
-
Profit and
loss responsibility for After Sales Division.
-
Manage
(reduce) an inventory of $2mio of parts.
-
Utilize CMMS
(Kerridge).
-
Prepare
invoices and PO’s.
Ideal candidates
will possess:
-
This position
requires a mature, target driven individual who has a well proven track
record in the automotive industry.

Technical knowledge and experience of the retail motor industry at a senior
level.
·
Skills in applying knowledge in a management position.

Ability to
organize clerical work, administration, control systems and financial
resources.

Leadership
and coaching attributes.

Relevant and
up-to-date knowledge of vehicle design and manufacture, consumer and vehicle
legislation, industry and trade practices.

Technical,
professional and engineering qualifications.
-
Experience
and knowledge of modern business methods and financial control. Skills in
using this knowledge in a practical way.

Knowledge of
the changing face of the industry in the light of E.U. legislation and its
effects on the business.

(Preferred)
Membership of The Institute of the Motor Industry.

High
standards of numeracy and literacy and strong communication skills.
